I’m Tanvi Patil—a lifelong seeker devoted to the art of inner and outer alignment, teacher, and guide on the path of holistic healing. My journey with yoga began over a decade ago and has since evolved into a passionate calling to help others find inner stillness, strength, and vibrant well-being. As the founder of Soukhyam Yoga, I blend ancient yogic wisdom, modern science, and soul-rooted presence to support holistic well-being for individuals and communities around the world.

Raised in India, I grew up surrounded by the wisdom of Ayurvedic home remedies and the nurturing hands of my grandmother. That early exposure instilled in me a deep respect for the body’s innate intelligence and the healing power of nature. Movement has been my first language—as a classically trained Bharatanatyam and Kathak dancer, I discovered early on how the body could be a sacred vessel of emotion, energy, and story. That understanding naturally evolved into my yoga practice, which began over a decade ago and continues to unfold each day. This foundation, combined with my professional training as a healthcare provider and pharmacist specializing in cardiology, shapes the integrative, heart-centered approach I bring to every offering.

My yoga path led me to the Doron Yoga & Zen Center, where I completed my 200-hour training in Ashtanga Vinyasa, a lineage rooted in discipline, breath, and flow. I deepened my studies with a 300-hour advanced training in Rishikesh, Vyas Yoga Center the sacred birthplace of yoga, and also trained in Aerial Yoga. To support deeper energetic and emotional healing, I studied sound healing in Rishikesh, embracing the ancient vibrations of gongs, bowls, and voice as a tool for nervous system restoration and soul realignment.

Currently, I am pursuing an International Sound Therapy Association (ISTA)-accredited 200-hour Sound Healing Training with The Meta Musician to deepen my expertise in vibrational healing, building upon the knowledge I gained from completing my sound healing certification in India. This advanced training will enhance my ability to facilitate profound energetic and emotional healing through sound. Additionally, I am working towards a Prenatal Yoga – RPYT Yoga Alliance certification, aiming to provide a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for pregnant women in my practice and offerings.

As a certified scuba diver, my connection to nature runs deep. The stillness of the ocean has taught me the power of breath, silence, and coexistence. I carry that reverence into all my offerings—where every breath, movement, and vibration honors the sacredness of life.

At Soukhyam Yoga, my intention is to create healing spaces where movement, breath, and sound converge to support your journey—whether you seek physical vitality, emotional balance, or inner peace. My teachings are gentle yet grounded, inclusive, trauma-aware, and infused with compassion.

As someone who bridges the worlds of modern medicine and ancient wisdom, I believe in prevention over treatment, nourishment over restriction, and presence over perfection. Nutrition is an essential pillar of my personal practice, and I love sharing how food, lifestyle, and conscious living can deeply impact our health and energy.
